About PCWorkspace

PCWorkspace was founded in 2002 following a sustained period of information and communication technology, computer training, development and test trading, the name stemming from the computer workstation. Presently, PCWorkspace continues to grow, expand its knowledge and improve services. Steve White has a wealth of experience in computing, and in providing personal computer services, for the most part, in and around Peterborough. A sole-trader, the business may from time to time work with self-employed contractors or employ freelance professionals to ensure clients receive a tailored solution.

Largely working in a mobile capacity, the business aim is to provide a 'quality of service', expand and attract new clients and investment from a wider area. Steve is a qualified FE Teacher and Technician, a BT trained Broadband and Vision Engineer, a Professional Member of the British Computer Society, Member of the Federation of Small Businesses and a Microsoft Registered Partner.

Opportunity

PCWorkspace has no immediate plans to recruit and cannot presently commit to paid employment, nor are we currently in a position to sustain freelance work. However, if you perhaps aspire to achieve a 'quality of service', I would be interested to ¹hear from candidates who are in need of a platform, who are able to demonstrate both initiative and proficiency, and who are conceivably able to contribute to expanding the business.

English as a second language need not be a barrier given a potential to reach-out to a specific market area generating new business which in turn, in time may help to sustain self-employed status. A freelance partner would however need to possess appropriate qualifications, business acumen, be proactive and able to generate income.

Should you consider that you may be able to commit time and embark on any likely computer project, please submit a proposal to demonstrate ability. Perhaps pitch ideas for attracting new customers, or maybe a completed web design along with suggestions incorporating dynamic elements into web creation for sales; potential clients/remote support and/or free portal targeting new business.
